Limited Edition of 100 Hand Pulled Silk Screen on thick stock. Signed and Numbered by Niagara. Size is approx 18 x 24 inches.
Serigraphs or silkscreen prints start out life as a small perfectly rendered pen & ink drawing. The drawing is then blown up in size and each color is separated and "burned" on to it's own screen. The colors are then added one layer at a time to a thick, acid-free fine art paper each with slight variations that are unique to the silkscreen process. It's this shifting, off-register look that Niagara incorporates into her paintings.
